Scarlet and Violet Steal the Show
The Teal Mask Release Date
The upcoming DLC for Scarlet and Violet, The Teal Mask, finally has a release date! We are just over a month away from the announced date of September 13th. The footage featured a new evolution of Applin, Dipplin, and a new evolution of Duraludon, Archaludon.
Mew and Mewtwo Make Their Debut
Not only can Scarlet and Violet players claim Mew for free; 7-star Mewtwo is headed to a Tera Raid event soon! Using the Mystery Gift feature and the code GETY0URMEW you can get a level 5 Mew now until Monday, September 18 at 14:59 UTC. Mew will also be buffed for the Mewtwo Tera Raid event that will go from September 1 to September 17.

Paldea Arriving in Pokemon Go
The Paldean Pokemon are set to arrive in Pokemon Go in September! The known Pokemon so far are the Quaxley, Fuecoco, and Sprigatito, but there will no doubt be more on the way.
The Switch Adds More Classics
For those with the Nintendo Online subscription can now play Pokemon Trading Card Game and Pokemon Stadium 2. The Pokemon TCG comes with the standard subscription, but to get access the Stadium 2 it will require the Nintendo Online expansion pack.
Detective Pikachu Returns Trailer
Tehre is a new trailer for Detective Pikachu Returns. It is still set to release on October 6, 2023. We don’t learn a ton more about the adventure that Pikachu and his partner Tim will go on to solve the mystery of Tim’s missing father.
Best of the Rest
Pokemon Masters EX will see Nemona and Pawmot arrive from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Mewtwo is coming to Pokemon Unite. Pokemon Cafe Remix will be debuting Tatsugiri. There will be a Good Sleep Day full moon event for Pokemon Sleep.
So Much Too Watch
Path to the Peak Shorts
We saw a first look at Pokemon: Path to the Peak, an animated short series that will show characters learning how to play the Pokemon TCG. There will be more early reveals for these shorts for those attending the World Championships in Yokohama.
Pokemon Horizons Coming Soon
That’s the most we got “coming soon” but sadly there was not a specific release date. We were afforded some footage from Pokemon’s new content after Ash Ketchum’s departure.
Paldea Winds Hits the Web
On Septmeber 6, 2023 the new web series will premiere on The Pokemon Company’s YouTube channel. It will be a four-episode series set in Scarlet and Violet’s Paldean region.
