Calling all dungeon delvers and dragonslayers! Remember that shiny new Player’s Handbook we were all hyped for in May? Buckle up, because lead designer Jeremy Crawford just dropped a critical hit: it’s gonna be a bit longer than we hoped.

Apparently, that May release date was a sneak attack, even on Crawford himself! The wait continues, but hey, at least it means they’re extra polishing those rules to make them legendary. We wouldn’t want another decade of wonky Rangers, right?

Here’s the D&D lowdown:

New Player’s Handbook: Not arriving in May, but Crawford assures us they’re still hammering away. Expect it later in 2024.
Dungeon Master’s Guide & Monster Manual: Likely pushed back to 2025. Patience, young Padawans!
Silver Lining: The latest playtest was a hit with fans, especially the revamped Barbarian, Druid, and Monk! Sounds epic, right?
So, what do you think, fellow adventurers? Disappointed by the delay, or are you hyped for the extra polish? Spill the tea in the comments!

And hey, while we wait, let’s chat about that awesome Dwarven Fighter artwork (not the cover, but still cool!). What other character redesigns are you hoping to see?

Remember, the adventure continues! Let’s keep the spirit alive and share our excitement for the future of D&D! ✨
